How We Support Therapists Behind the Scenes: The Perks of Working at LifeSpring Counseling Services, a Maryland-based Group Practice

At LifeSpring, our highest priority is the care of our clients; our Maryland practice offers online and in-person counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults across the state to offer support for depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, and much more.

In addition to the support we provide our clients, we also foster a welcoming and positive work environment for the providers who choose us as their place of employment. Our office has several LGPCs, LCPCs, and LCSW-Cs who have come to us grow their expertise, and we are happy to be able to provide them several workplace benefits, such as paid time off/holidays, health insurance, 401k plans with matching, life insurance, short-term disability, CEU and training opportunities, and more.

While these workplace benefits are part of what makes LifeSpring a great place to work, we also provide other perks to providers who choose to work with us, some you might not have even thought about! Here are some perks of choosing to work as a licensed therapist at LifeSpring Counseling Services in Maryland.

Perks of choosing to work as a licensed therapist at LifeSpring Counseling Services

1. Free social media marketing

No need to worry about advertising your services on social media. Our Digital Marketing & Billing Operations Coordinator helps us with creating eye-catching content to share across our socials, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Our office will be sure to advertise your specialties, trainings and certifications, self-written blog posts, short form videos, and your current availability so we can get your caseload filled ASAP!

2. Your own profile on our website

We’ll be highlighting your services, specialties, treatment modalities, ideal client, and your hours on our website where interested clients can read all about you and your work! Here, we won’t just be highlighting your expertise, but be giving clients a glimpse into your personality and who you are as a person (including fun pictures you get to choose to make your profile your own!).

3. Receive help with verifying clients’ benefits

Once your client schedules an intake appointment with you, with assistance from our helpful office administrator, we will be sure to have our billing team verify your client’s benefits to ensure that they’re in-network and know what they owe for each session. Our billing team will also keep an eye on any incoming Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and ERAs to confirm when your client meets their deductible.

4. In-House Billing team

One of the standout features of LifeSpring Counseling Services is our in-house billing team, which handles all aspects of insurance billing. From filing claims to following up on payments and resolving issues with EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) and ERAs (Electronic Remittance Advices), our billing experts ensure that everything runs smoothly. By taking care of these complex and time-consuming tasks, we free up our therapists to concentrate on what they do best—providing exceptional care to their clients.

5. Comprehensive Administrative Support

Our administrative team is dedicated to making your professional life as stress-free as possible. From the moment a client reaches out for intake to scheduling appointments and answering client questions, our admin staff handles it all. We also take care of follow-ups, referrals, and any other client-related tasks, ensuring that everything is organized and efficient. This means you can devote your energy to your therapeutic work, knowing that the administrative details are expertly managed. Our goal is to create a seamless experience for both therapists and clients, fostering an environment where excellent care thrives.

At LifeSpring Counseling Services, we pride ourselves on providing unparalleled support to our clinicians. Join us, and experience the difference a dedicated, behind-the-scenes team can make in your professional life.

Here’s how you can get started! Online counseling for anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and grief and loss aren’t the only services offered at our Maryland office.
