1-Day Brainspotting Intensive
For people who are looking to dive in and do deep work, rather than just dip their toe in the water!
You’re serious about doing some deep therapeutic work. You sincerely want to feel better, and you want to do so as quickly as possible. At the same time, you’re kind of new to Brainspotting, so you’re not quite sure if you’re ready for a the 3-day Brainspotting Intensive. What you do know, is that you want something that’s more intense than weekly therapy.
The one-day Brainspotting Intensive is a great middle ground!
Don’t have the time or patience for weekly therapy or making gradual progress each week? If you’re feeling a little impatient about feeling better, the one-day Brainspotting Intensive can be great fit. And…you can participate in weekly therapy if you want while also doing the one-day Brainspotting Intensive around the issues that’s bugging you the most.
Using the One-Day Brainspotting Intensive Wisely
There are different reasons why people might be interested in pursuing a one-day Brainspotting Intensive. It could be to…
Get a feel for Brainspotting work on a more intensive level before signing up for the 3-Day Brainspotting Intensive
Work through a difficult emotion or difficult experience to see how you feel after one day of Brainspotting
Work through a creative block that’s impacting your work or hobby
Work through fears and mindset issues that are negatively impacting your growth as a business owner
Work through mindset issues like imposter syndrome, money mindset, or insecurities that are impacting you professionally or personally
All of these are great reasons to sign up for a one-day Brainspotting Intensive
How Do We Know That Brainspotting Works?
Years of Brainspotting experience has shown the amazing results that people can get from Brainspotting. These results sometimes look like people:
gaining new insights and making new connections.
realizing that they are not broken and that their body can be trusted.
feeling less activated, less emotional, or less distressed when thinking about difficult experiences or events.
enhancing creativity and experiencing a sense of expansion.
The things that happen in Brainspotting sessions are not things that I see when doing talk therapy alone!
When you commit to doing the work, you feel better & get results!
Unfortunately, many of us feel like we’re splurging or being selfish when we use our time or resources to focus on ourselves. Therapeutic work can certainly be difficult, AND when we commit to doing that work, we eventually get to come out on the other side feeling better, having new insights, or new coping strategies. How much is your peace worth?
Here’s what others have said about Brainspotting!
At the end of hour-long Brainspotting sessions, clients have said…
“The issue I was processing "feels further away."
The issue I was processing "feels smaller now."
When I think about that issue again, "I don't feel activated like I did before."
“Now I understand why I was feeling that way.”
If these are the responses we’ve seen after 1 brief session alone, imagine the amount of work that can be done after a full day (or 3) of Brainspotting! Many of the issues that people work on are connected to other things. In this way, Brainspotting is like peeling away the layers of an onion, and when we’ve waited a long time to seek therapy, there are a lot of layers to peel away!
When you take care of yourself, it benefits others, too!
When we’re not doing well, it impacts others too. It impacts our work, our relationships, and our ability to function on a day-to-day basis. When we take care of ourselves, our relationships, our work performance, and our ability to get through the day improve too! If there’s someone in your life who has been encouraging you to seek help, we kindly suggest that you listen! Working on yourself will help you and those around you.

People who are located outside of Maryland can certainly participate in an in-person Brainspotting Intensive. This would require you to travel to Maryland for this service. Traveling to participate in an intensive is a fairly common practice for different kinds of intensives (like couples work).
