Feeling Overwhelmed, Stuck, or Just Not Yourself Lately?

You might be finding it hard to get through the day. Maybe you're constantly overthinking, second-guessing yourself, or feeling exhausted even when you haven't done much. Your motivation is low, and the things that used to bring joy now feel like a chore. Some days, you’re just trying to keep your head above water.

Trust us, You’re Not the Only One Going Through This!

At LifeSpring Counseling Services, we work with adults across Maryland who are going through many of the same things. Most of our clients are college students or working professionals navigating careers, relationships, family, and identity, all while trying to keep it together.

Struggles with anxiety, depression, and burnout are more common than you think. If you're feeling off, there's probably a good reason. You're not weak or broken, you're human who’s navigating life. Life can feel heavy at times, especially when you're dealing with pressure from every direction. Our clients often tll us that just being able to talk to someone outside of their own circle of friends or family members (without being judged) is already a relief.

How Therapy Helps You Feel More in Control

We offer individual therapy for adults in-person at our Baltimore City office and virtually across Maryland. If you're feeling overwhelmed, therapy can give you a space to process what you're going through, gain insight and new tools, and feel more confident and grounded.

What sessions at LifeSpring Counseling Services are like

We start by getting to know you, your experiences, your goals, and what’s been weighing on you. Therapy is collaborative, which means we’ll work together to help you understand what’s happening, why you feel the way you do, and how you can start to shift things.

We’ll introduce coping strategies that actually work in your everyday life, and we’ll guide you in trying out new ways of thinking and responding. Over time, therapy can help you feel more confident, clear, and calm.

Specialized support

Some clients benefit from Brainspotting, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), or one of the many other specialized approaches we offer. You can read about these services on our website and/or by asking the therapist you’ve chosen about specialized trainings they’ve pursued.

Who we help

We support adults of diverse backgrounds who are dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and difficult life challenges.  We also tend to work with a large number of nurses, first responders, teachers, and individuals who wish to incorporate their faith or spirituality into their sessions.  Whether you're a college student juggling deadlines or a professional dealing with burnout, you’re welcome here.

Answers to Common Questions

Do you accept insurance?

Yes, most of our clients use their health insurance for therapy. We’ll check your benefits before you get started and talk through any out-of-pocket costs upfront.

What if I don’t have time for therapy?

A question we like better is:  What happens if I DON’T make time for therapy? Therapy is an investment in your time, energy, and money. When you sign up for therapy, it’s important to make sure that you do have the time and space to fully participate to make the most out of your experience.

Consistency is key, and you want to feel better and see progress, after all. That’s why we offer flexible daytime and evening appointments. Online sessions can save you time and make therapy easier to fit in.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person?

Yes. Online sessions give you the same level of support, from the comfort of your home. Many of our clients find it even easier to open up in a familiar space.
