3-Day Brainspotting Intensive
Deep, Effective Work in a Condensed Amount of Time!
Your time is limited, and you want something that will help you feel better fast! You’re tired of difficult emotions and negative thoughts impacting how you feel and how you’re functioning in everyday life. You want to feel like your old self again (or better), and live up to your full potential.
Perhaps you’re the person who has never considered therapy before, but life threw an unexpected event at you that has forced you to consider ways to feel better and get back to your usual self ASAP.
Or…perhaps you have participated in therapy before, but you’re looking for something that will help you get to the core of your issues.
Brainspotting Can Help!
Brainspotting is an effective brain and body-based treatment modality that allows people to do deep work fast. It allows people to gain helpful insights, make new connections, work through difficult emotions, and work through difficult experiences. On top of that, Brainspotting does not require a lot of talking which some people really like.
Brainspotting Intensives
For people who want to do serious therapeutic work in a short period of time.
Brainspotting Intensive are great for people who are low on time, but serious about getting some therapeutic work done, so they can feel better as soon as possible! Intensive are great for people who don’t want to attend weekly therapy sessions, because they want fast results! Of course, you can do an intensive while still working with a talk therapist.
Therapy and Brainspotting sometimes mean looking at difficult topics and experiences. While we’re not always motivated to look at the “hard stuff,” some people prefer to “just get it done.” For some people, 3 days of hard work is more attractive than doing smaller weekly doses of Brainspotting therapy. There’s no right or wrong here. It’s just a matter of preference and your availability to do the work.
Important to note: Finding an experienced Brainspotting therapist can be a challenge. It can be an even bigger challenge to find a Brainspotting Intensive. You won’t find Brainspotting Intensives everywhere!
Here’s what others have said about Brainspotting!
At the end of hour-long Brainspotting sessions, clients have said…
“The issue I was processing "feels further away."
The issue I was processing "feels smaller now."
When I think about that issue again, "I don't feel activated like I did before."
“Now I understand why I was feeling that way.”
If these are the responses we’ve seen after 1 brief session alone, imagine the amount of work that can be done after a full day (or 3) of Brainspotting! Many of the issues that people work on are connected to other things. In this way, Brainspotting is like peeling away the layers of an onion, and when we’ve waited a long time to seek therapy, there are a lot of layers to peel away!
Brainspotting can alleviate annoying symptoms, so you can feel like your old self again!
Many of the people we work with seek Brainspotting services because they’re tired of annoying sympoms such as:
Being jumpy or easily startled after a traumatic event
Nightmares or intrusive thoughts or memories
Distressing emotions that impact how they feel or that impact their ability to function
Negative thoughts about themselves like, “I’m broken.”
Uncomfortable physical sensations
Brainspotting can address all of these concerns and more! On top of that, Brainspotting can help people become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. It can help people learn to trust their bodies more. It can also help people work through blocks that are interfering with their creativity and/or professional endeavors.
Helping yourself creates ripple effects of change in other areas!
When we make the decision to take care of ourselves, it does a world of good for our relationships with others. The people who love us no longer have to worry about us or our ability to complete day-to-day tasks. When we’re doing well, those individuals are no longer on the receiving end of our negativity, irritability, or hopelessness. They know that we’re taking action. When we take care of ourselves, we’re able to be more productive at work, and we’re better able to be the type of friend, family member, or colleague that we want to be.

Yes! The great thing about Intensives is that you can travel to our office in Baltimore Couonty to participate in this service. If you come in for a 3-day Intensive, you’ll be able to do a lot of work in a short period of time and then return back home.
This is a fairly common practice for a variety of therapeutic Intensives.
