Hi, I’m Ashley (she/her/hers)! I’m a licensed clinical professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor based in Baltimore, MD. I provide telehealth services throughout the state of Maryland. Welcome!
I strongly believe that growth happens when we feel supported and understood. As a therapist, my role is to facilitate your goals by highlighting ways of processing and understanding the world around us. I am passionate about identifying and understanding the impact of values in ourselves, our support structures, and our community. I believe connection acts as our driving force in this world and I will help you to find connection to yourself, others, your community, or to the environment.
Many people come to me in times of anxiety and sadness. Whether it be a new job, a move, graduation, parenthood, relationship changes, boundary changes, or grief. All of these are tough and can bring up much uncertainty in ourselves and the future.
Oftentimes, our identity, values, and self esteem can get called into question. I can support you by offering you coping and processing tools that can help you to feel empowered and that can ease your discomfort.
Conceptually, I take a multifaceted trauma-informed approach to counseling, with a framework of person-centered therapy and acceptance based counseling. I've trained to be a Certified Grief Informed Professional, and a Certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy Professional. I am certified as a National Certified Counselor.
“Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.”

Outside of the office…
You can usually find me spending time with my family, outdoors at a park, exploring local coffee shops, bakeries, and bookstores. I also love a good farmers’ market and enjoy time with friends listening to music. I can always find a good excuse to get lost in a museum! I love all that Baltimore has to offer with local hidden gems to large attractions, like the Maryland Zoo and National Aquarium.
Educational Background
I completed my Master’s degree in counseling at Johns Hopkins University following my Bachelor’s degree from Towson University where I majored in Psychology. During my time in education, I was a member of the American Counseling Association, Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International (CSI), National Alliance Mental Illness (NAMI), Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology, a teaching assistant for developmental psychology course, and a research assistant for The Site for OCD & Autism Research (SOAR) Lab, Anxiety Research Lab, and Biopsychology Research Lab.

“Love yourself enough to walk into only the rooms and situations that show care and love for you. Love yourself enough to walk out of the rooms that harm you in any way. Love yourself enough to hold the people who harm you accountable for their words and actions. Love yourself enough to express your wants, your needs, and your desires. Love yourself enough to tell the truth. Love yourself enough to keep yourself safe. Love yourself enough to say enough is enough when enough has become enough.”
