Now accepting new clients — schedule today!
Hello! My name is Sera Havrilla (she/her/hers). My goal is to help clients feel supported, accepted, and empowered to make the changes they desire. In a hectic world, I will help you find ways to find a greater sense of peace. Whether that means managing depression, understanding anxiety, or quieting your inner critic.
I tailor my approach to meet each person where they are. I believe in a holistic approach to wellness. This involves knowing the roles that self-care, physical activity, relationships, and stress play in your life. I enjoy working with college students, young adults, and adults.
I specialize in working with clients with anxiety, depression, and/or low self-esteem. I also work with those who feel overwhelmed by recent life events or stress.
“On the days where you feel you are not going to make it, remember the hills that your weary feet have already made it over. Remember the unexpected grace that found you anyway, and how that very same grace is available to you today.”
— Morgan Harper Nichols

Outside of the office…
When I’m not in the office you can usually find me at yoga or in the kitchen testing out new recipes. I love cooking and baking for friends and family (canine family members included!). I am a huge animal lover & have a soft spot for pit bulls & bully breeds. When the weather is warm I enjoy spending time outside & hiking local trails.
Educational Background
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). I received my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University. I have experience in: CBT, crisis management, critical incident, and military families.
In 2019, I attended a Couples Work & Why It Matters in Modern Times training. I am interested in continuing to learn more about couples counseling.

“Great people do things before they’re ready. They do things before they know they can do it. Doing what you’re afraid of, getting out of your comfort zone, taking risks like that – that is what life is. You might be really good. You might find out something about yourself that’s really special and if you’re not good, who cares? You tried something. Now you know something about yourself.”
— Amy Poehler
