Accepting new clients for daytime only — Schedule today!
Hello! My name is Cam Davis (she/they), and I offer individual therapy using a trauma-informed, integrative multicultural approach. I love working with diverse clients who have salient intersectional identities, and I encourage clients to discuss their identities during sessions.
Lived experience as a BIPOC, 2SLGBTQIA+, disabled counselor gives me a unique perspective to hear client concerns regarding race, ethnicity, gender, affection, disability, chronic illness and/or pain, neurodivergence, and many other identities.
I am also a writer and artist, and I understand first-hand how difficult it can be as a creative person at this time. With a client-centered approach, I can help clients work through feelings of imposter syndrome, seek direction, or rekindle their passion during these challenges.
Finally, as a black belt martial artist, past college athlete, and current equestrian, I understand the potential stress of combining training and competition with academics, work, and personal life. I look forward to helping you find sustainable balance within your life!
“You cannot use someone else’s fire. You can only use your own. And in order to do that, you must first be willing to believe that you have it.”

Outside of the office…
I love gardening and spending time with my Mustang horse, Zen. As a horse trainer and horsemanship teacher, working with people and horses has many of the same fulfilling qualities as counseling: doing what I love to help others. I often spend my weekends writing short pieces, drawing, or playing tabletop role-playing games with friends—if not all three!
Educational Background
I received my B.S. in Psychology from Brown University and M.S. in School and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University with membership into the Lambda Chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) International Counseling Honor Society. During my time at Johns Hopkins, I earned the Outstanding Emerging Practitioner Award in School Counseling, the Student Excellence Award in School Counseling, and was a 2022 Southern Association for Counselor Education and Supervision Conference (SACES) Panelist discussing the impact of Multicultural Training Leaders on Diversity and Social Justice courses. I amm also trained in Brainspotting Phase 1 and 2.

“Beloved community is formed not by the eradication of difference but by its affirmation, by each of us claiming the identities and cultural legacies that shape who we are and how we live in the world.”
